PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The MPO/MTP Trunk cable is a multi-fiber cable assembled with MPO/MTP connector at either end. It is designed for 40G QSFP+ SR4, 40G QSFP+ CSR4 and 100G QSFP28 SR4 optics direct connection. 

It is widely used in the data center, central office, and any other high-density applications, both at single-mode and multi-mode wavelength. 

MTP/MPO trunk cable, a cost-effective alternative to time-consuming field termination, is designed for high-density fiber patching in data centers which need space saving and reduce cable management troubles.

0.35dB IL, MTP Female to MTP Female connector and 3.0mm Plenum (OFNP) bunch cable is designed for 40G/100G direct connection and high-density data center applications.

MPO/MTP patch cord is not currently designed for field-fit applications, so it must be factory terminated. Since the sequence of the fibers cannot physically be changed after termination, making the polarity clear is important. According to IEC，there are three types, Polarity A, B, and C. Which type to choose depends on the individual applications. If the polarity is not be made correctly, the whole system will not work normally. Kindly refer below chart and confirm which polarity type you need.

Q:I wonder what's the difference between OFNP and LSZH cable jacket?

A:OFNP (plenum) have the highest rated fire retardant where it emits little smoke during combustion, LSZH(Low Smoke Zero Halogen) cable jacket is composed of thermoset compounds that emit limited smoke and no halogen when exposed to high sources of heat, eg. flame. 

Q:Do you offer MTP fiber optic cable with BIF? 

A：Yes. We offer MTP fiber optic cable made with Corning ClearCurve bend insensitive fiber. For multimode, its minimum bend radius is 7.5mm; for singlemode, it's 10mm. 

Q:Is this APC or UPC? I know the green usually implies angle polished, but I have a few other cables that look the same as this picture with just a 90 degree flat polish. 

A:For singlemode fiber it has APC polish with a 8 degree angle, multimode fiber is UPC polish with just a 90 degree flat.
